The summer after fourth grade I was at Grandma's mountain house. My two brothers and I decided to go fishing in the stream near by. We took our shiny red fishing pole out of the garage and heading down the rocky white path road. The rocks clanged together on the ground as we walk along. Once we got to the part of the creek were all the fish were me and my brother Charlie casted out our rod and the strings flew in the air landing about twenty feet away from us. Soon after that my oldest brother Sean casted his a few minutes later me and Charlie reeled ours back in. The thing you got to know is that we were standing side by side and Sean was a little bit down the creek. at the same time me and Charlie casted our rods in the direction of the other person, making a X shape in the air. The fine clear fishing wire got tangled in a split second me and Charlie reeled in our hooks and a giant clear wire knot was in the middle of our wires. We called for Sean who came quickly. The knot was impossible to undo, so me and Charlie layed down our poles and watched Sean try to get a fish. Then a fish waded up to the very edge of the creek. In a instant Sean put his hook into the water. The fish deliberately moved around the hook and back into the screen. We were all shocked of all a fish could fit such a big brain in his tiny head.

Thomas Jefferson is famous for writing the Declaration of Independence which is the letter that says the colonies wanted independence. This was a huge impact in the Revolutionary War because without him the Revolutionary War wouldn't of started because the Declaration was the start of the war so without him the War might of not happened.
I think that Mr.Solarz made us do this project because he wanted us to learn more about the Revolutionary War even though it was only one person you were doing to report on you learn tons more about the Revolutionary War. My body responded to the ball by I flinched and blinked. Me blinking would protect me because the ball could of hit my eye and if I blink the ball wouldn't be able to. Also flinching would help me because I could dodge the ball and it wouldn't hit me it would go right past me. Me trying to catch the ruler is like this because my nerves had to react like the ball did to my nerves and made me blink and flinch. The reflex that helps you do this is called the Blink Reflex because it protects our eyes from danger to not get hurt.
The gelatin changed in cup one because it went through the filter and into the cup like the small intestine would take out the liquid from your digested food and put it into the blood stream (the cup). The powder that we put in the filter one change because in the cup it looks yellowish, like urine. This is not how urine is made that happens in the urinary system. The cup that the gelatin got to the blood stream is cup one because the powder got digested and broken down enough to get to the blood stream. Before the gelatin gets to the bloodstream it has to be broken down enough. If you couldn't digest food I would eat meat tenderizer because it help digest the food in this experiment to get to the blood stream so it might be able to work in you body.
At he field Museum we met a ancientest and he told us a lot about astronomy. we took a day off of school to see him because we skipped the solar system unit in third grade so we got to learn about what we didn't learn about in third grade. the most interesting thing that I learned is that ohair Airport is built on top of a crater which was shocking because I would never of predicted that you could build something so complex and it is on a crater. I would spend money to reasearch metearites because some might come into the earth orbit nad hit the earth which could cause problems so using money you cand
We took a day off of school to go to the field museum and learn about the earth and how it started. The whole session was about learn what happen to make the earth start and what were the first things on the earth. It was worth going because our next unit is going to be watery earth and that was the first part of the tour. Another reason we should of gone is because we were learning a lot I would of never learn any of that stuff if I wasn't there and if we did learn about it I would NOT be interested because I got to see stuff at the museum which makes it easier to learn for me then without. The most interesting thing that I learned was that over 10 species died the morning that I was there that was more than I thought could die in a whole year. I think that there could be another planet just like the earth out there if the things happened to it as it happened to the earth.
Today in school we learned about breathing. We breathed through a straw and did different activities. I thought that it was harder to do jumping jacks with a straw in your mouth then regular breathing it wasn't that hard to walk around the room with a straw in your mouth. Once you got the little straw it got hard to breath even without walking around the room. Breathing through the wide straw was hard because it isn't as big as your mouth and it can't fit as much air in your lungs as your mouth can. Breathing through a small straw affected me differently then the big straw because not a lot of air could fit through the thin straw so I could barely breath. Once you start breathing normaly you have to pant because you didn't get enough air. Your breathing changes when you get more active because you need more oxigen to get to your cells which comes from your lungs so the heart can pump it but when you breath fast it doesn't mean that your heart beets fast.
In school we have a thing called passion time were you don't have to do anything that the teacher told you to do. You pick one thing you want to learn about or improve on and "go wild on it". By learning everything you can about the topic. The thing that I wanted to improve on was writing I thought that I was good at it and it is my passion. The book that I am writing is called Run Away. It's about a kid that was left at a subway station by his parents when he was a baby so he got sent to an orphanage were he meets a girl. They both practically grow up together and when she gets adopted he runs away to find her. There will be many challenges he will have to overcome including hurting his ankle, finding food, and shelter.
