Reflections

    This skype was really cool with Richard Chapman and I learned so much about the Oregon trail and it told me about the animals in Yellowstone and on the trail. My favorite facts where about how the coyote has so much of a facial difference than the wolf. The major difference is the long snout and the long ears of the coyote and the small snout and ears of the wolf. The one very said thing is you might have to leave family behind on the Oregon Trail or see them get sick and die on the wagon. Thank you Mr. Chapman.

• We will need to cross Almost 17 rivers
• We will need to walk 2000 miles
• we can only bring up to 1 1/2 tons
• We might run into predators on the trail
  
• We will become part of a already huge ecosystem
•  The animals will most likely harass us and try to take our food
• Wolves and coyotes will be trying to take your live stock
• The way to tell the difference between coyotes and wolves is size and ear size
  
•     wolves have big heads and a short muzzle and a coyote has a long muzzle and a smaller head
  
• The coyote will come and make your dog feel bad and then it will attack the dog.
• The Oregon trail is not really a road, but a open place with layed over grass
  
• Wolves and coyotes have the same teeth
• Wolves can eat up to 20 pounds of meat in 10min  
• There is lots of things about the weight of the wagon that matter.
• We will also have to watch out for wolves taking our Hunting .
• We will change the ecosystem like killing lots of the Wolves.
• We will have to leave lots of friends behind.
  
• The trail has giant ruts from thousands of wagons.
• There are tons of bugs and snakes all along the trail that could get you.
• The Misceetoes are as big as hummingbirds.
• The bugs are Misceetoes and biting fly.
• The wolf has a small chest and webbed paws like snowshoes. 
• Dogs can carry disease that can infect coyotes and wolves
  
• Badgers are all over the USA.
• Lichen grows very slow.
• Reindeer and Caraboo can eat Lichen
  
• Lichen can be used for Medicine.
• Golden Eagles can take down deer
