Surface Leaves Moss Branches Grass Bark | Prediction I think that the water will absorb into the leaves. I think that the water will just slip off the moss and not absorb to it at all. I think that the water droplets would just stay on there and take a little longer to dry then the others. I think like the branches it will just stay on there or slip off. I think that the water will just slip off and start to dry off really quicker then the others. | Actual On the leaves the water droplets just stuck to the leaves and took a little bit longer to dry off. The water on the moss just slipped off the moss. It took less time to dry then the others. On the branch the water dripped right off of the branches. It took longer to try even though the water dripped off. The water slipped right off the grass and the grass dried off quickly. The water stood on the bark and didn't slip off. The bark took a little longer to dry. | Reflection I was surprised that the water droplets actually stood on there and it took longer to dry. I wasn't surprised because the water just did what I thought it would do, but now I know what moss does with water. The water actually dripped right off. I was surprised because the water just dripped off I thought that the water would drip off and I was right. The water didn't surprise me that it will just slip off. What did surprise me was it was still wet! |
Water Story
Click for Credit There once was a water molecule in the clouds. He wanted to be with someone. The molecule always wanted to be with someone like take a bath with them or something. Be there to help wash their hands. He couldn't wait for it to rain. Then one day he could see his fellow friends falling from the cloud. The molecule was still snow though. Then molecule fell. It changed into water and was going faster and faster. Then plop it hits the curb. Then the molecule just started to go faster to go to the sewer. All his friends were calling for help while molecule just was smiling. Everyone thought he was turning on them. The molecule all of a sudden was in the sewer. He knew that he was going to someone sooner or later. Then he could hear someone turn on the sounds of a bath tub. He had just went through the cleaning practice when... "Vwoohp!" He goes up the pipe and is in the water with his friends. He actually didn't go to the bath or where someone is washing their hands or something. he was in the ocean.
"Dang it" the molecules says. Now he is just going to be in the clouds. This happens every time to poor molecule. Now he has to evaporate and get back up to the clouds. Then condensation and all.
"This stinks" say molecule.
