The most surprising thing about energy was how fast it travels. It travels like a million miles per hour! We had this one experiment where we had to see if water in a cup would escape. Energy is important because we use it all day to do things. Like so we can move. If we all couldn't move we would accomplish nothing. There would need to be energy in food,so we couldn't be able to do anything. Energy is found literally everywhere. It is floating all around us. You can find it in food and other things like that. I would define energy as a floating invisible thing that floats around and it makes you want to do things.
