Reflection Question 

• Which joint did you choose as our most important joint?
  
• Why did you choose that joint?
  
• What things would be difficult to do without that joint?

Your joint is writing a persuasive letter to you, asking you to be kinder to it by doing (or not doing) several things.  Can you write from that perspective?  Can the joint be persuasive enough to get you to treat it better?  Think about eating, carrying things, what you are wearing, sitting, lifting, exercising, playing sports, etc.  What simple things could you do during your daily routine that would protect your joints?  Have fun writing!

• I chose the jaw because with out the jaw then you wouldn't be able to eat and if you don't eat then you can die. It would be difficult to talk, chew, and eat. You can blink, flare you nostrils, and raise your eyebrows. You can do all of those things without having to use your joints. 

Q; What three basic things do our bodies need in order to survive?
A:  Your body needs food, water, and sleep in order to survive you don't need energy because food is energy.

Q; If we exert ourselves, what are three (or more) signs that our bodies are in distress?
A: because of all of the jumping jacks I did I was out of breath. I was also starting to get hot because of the jumping jacks. My legs started to hurt because of when I was jumping. I had to stop because I started to get dizzy. Also my face started to get red. 

Q: What can we do to make these signs go away?
A: What you could do for these signs to go away is stop what you are doing get a drink of water and sit down.

• The inside is brown ish green. 
• the outside is red.
• the inside looks slimy and wet.
• the inside where the seed goes is white.
• by the stem it looks like a heart.
• there are some dents.
• there are some dark spots on the outside.
• the stem has tiny little hairs on it.
• on the inside it is brown but when you scrape it off it is white.

• Why were you able to observe so many things about your apple today?

I was able to observe a lot of things because there are a lot of intresting stuff about it.

• Why is observation and description so important in science?

It is so important because you need to know how to describe a lot of descriptive things 

• Rank order the five senses in the order or your observations (i.e. which sense was used most, second most, etc.).
• The senses most used were sight first, touch was second, smell was third, and hear was last.

  Q: The first question was what was the hardest part of this activity?
  A: The hardest part of this activity was trying to pronounce all of the body parts and having to know where everything went in the body because we were not sure where to put half of the things. So that was pretty tricky.


Q: The second question is what do you think you put in the wrong place
   A: I think we put the eyes, the brain, the lungs, the bladder,and the heart in the wrong place because it all looked like it was in the wrong place but at the end we were all like that was so obvious. 


Q; What do you think you put in the right place?
  A:  I think we put the kidneys, pancreas, spleen, liver,and the diaphragm in the right place because we knew where all of those went before we did the experiment.
