The Stamp Act had several effects that eventually led to colonists wanting to declare independence from England, one of the effects was the colonists wanting representation in Parliament. Another affect was the colonists refuse to even buy the said stamps. The last effect was protesting in streets and stores, other people attacked tax collectors in their homes and on streets.
The Boston Tea Party was a cause that led to the colonies wanting independence because the colonies wanted to be able to buy any tea and independence would allow them to be able to have any tea they like, because if Britain is telling them what the can an can't have, independence would allow them to say any company can sell tea to us.
I think America should declare independence from England because England is too controlling and demanding. because right now I am tired of paying tax to a government that has " taxation with out representation". I also think we should declare independence because we are our own country now and we need to make our own decisions as a country, no you cannot have this type of tea, no you have to pay tax on this paper, yada yada ya.
