AHHHHHHH!!!! Man oh man I hate tax collectors. Paul Tax Collector, he came around today and he took my pence. I get paid so little and he took so much c'mon dude whats that for!! Oh yeah Great Britain. Blah I mean yeah, the "Great" B needs money but why from us, why cant they have a fundraiser or something. I mean we should be our own country by now we have put up a major fight, Hutchinson ,we destroyed your books for Pete's sake. Well they do have a point and I want to poke them with it, there to far to rule us and the tax collectors wont come around if "Great" B didn't rule us. Back to Paul, he took my pence because and just because my birthday was in November if they are going to tax people on all paper products we are going to put up a fight. I work hard for this money only for them to take it away. I wish that England would tax Britain too. But they say we don't have the same freedom rights as them. Well I'm a patriot, but thy still take money from loyalists. If we were to declare independence I would never have to pay tax again... I hope. Oh well, gotta go, with the rest of my money I'm going to go buy tar and feathers. Watch out Paul. Hehehehehehehehehehe. |

Reflection.... Q 1: Which side is easier to debate: Patriot or Loyalist? Why?
A 1: Patriot, because most of the loyalists have special things given to them by the King. Q 2: . You completed History Alive 10 on paper and History Alive 11 on computer. Which way made you LEARN more? Why? A 2: I think the paper version made me learn more. Why? Because I am so used to it the online version was a new thing. Eventually I will think it is better, but as of now I like and learn better in the book.
1. Write was something positive and negative about each subject:
-Our answers I think our answers were clear and made sense. I say this because we had good answers and they made sense because we said stuff that was true and we all knew from the book or Mr Solarz. My negative thing was probably that are answers were so short that we were the first group done. I say this because we were like "I dont hate patriots but I do disagree with them in government. -Our Preparation I think our preparation was pretty solid, I say this because we were all ready and knew what to do. My negative thing was that we didnt focus on our questions as much as we should of. I say this because we only had three questions and we rushed through them. -Our Behavior I think our behavior was solid. I say this because everyone was focused and helping our Actor with his answers and we all knew what we supposed to be doing. My negative thing was some people were spacing out and this because we should have been paying attention to the actor and helping our group with answers. -Our Final Project I think our project was iffy because we were short and no one was talking loud enough. I say this because we could hardly hear the other teams Actor and Public Relations Agent talk. My positive thing was our camera work was really good nobody abused it, it was focused on the PR agent and the actor only. - Anything of my choice My choice is our notes, my group was kind of zoned out everyone was doing their own thing. I say this because the Costume designer was making our unused costume while the PR agent was taking notes this was kinda good because we were done fast and could revise and help everyone. This was good because we could all help each other and we could all get help if we needed it. I think my script clearly shows what a patriot and loyalist is because Jill always agrees with England no matter what I, the patriot says Jill the loyalist, will always disagree with, taxes are bad, England needs the money. The Boston Massacre, it was an accident. Anything Jill says I disagree with, the Soldiers are only here to help, they killed five people, England needs the money, to send soldiers who kill us. And on and on and on... THis shows me that a loyalist is someone who stays loyal to England and thinks what England thinks.A patriot is a person who believes we need freedom and independence and a prezz-i-dent. This is what I think a loyalist and a patriot is.
The Stamp Act had several effects that eventually led to colonists wanting to declare independence from England, one of the effects was the colonists wanting representation in Parliament. Another affect was the colonists refuse to even buy the said stamps. The last effect was protesting in streets and stores, other people attacked tax collectors in their homes and on streets.
The Boston Tea Party was a cause that led to the colonies wanting independence because the colonies wanted to be able to buy any tea and independence would allow them to be able to have any tea they like, because if Britain is telling them what the can an can't have, independence would allow them to say any company can sell tea to us. I think America should declare independence from England because England is too controlling and demanding. because right now I am tired of paying tax to a government that has " taxation with out representation". I also think we should declare independence because we are our own country now and we need to make our own decisions as a country, no you cannot have this type of tea, no you have to pay tax on this paper, yada yada ya. I got a job as confectioner, I picked this job because I love sweets and when I found out what a confectioner was I was bouncing off the walls excited. I just started living with my new boss. It was easy to get this job I have do do a little light housekeeping, but I have a house. My first day in Boston was so chaotic its not even funny. I have to wake up so so early and get to the shop by 6:30 blah. I work from 6:30 am to 5:30 pm every day except Sunday for their church, which I do not attend. At the shop I manage the counter and I sold 3 containers of rat poison and worked up a conversation with the guy who owns the Inn. Then after lunch I sweep the shop which isn't to big, thankfully, then I go back to the counter and around 3:30 I leave to go clean the house, at 4:30 I watch the kids while Mrs. Confectioner goes to make dinner. At 5:30 we eat and I go hang with my friends who also have apprentice ships all over. On Sundays I clean the house while the family goes to church, after I clean I make a big Sunday breakfast for them when they come back. After that the Mr and Mrs. Confectioner hang back at the house while I take the kids to the park or whatever. At lunch time we come back and I get groceries for the family and come back, I watch the kids again while the parents attend a politics or Parliment meeting and that stuff. After they get back (around 8:30)
We all go to bed (me and the kids) And then, the week repeats all over again The easiest form of of energy for me to find was movement. It was easiest to find because pretty much everything we saw moved.
The hardest form of energy to find was probably gravitational, we were pretty good, but still. It was hardest because not alot of things we saw could defy gravity in its own, that was not dropped that is. Our collaboration was everyone was constantly finding stuff and we were all included and everyone got a say. This was good because we all were heard and we all felt like we had a voice and everyone was giving ideas and nobody slacked back. I chose to research about the Cuban Missile crisis
I chose to research about the Cuban Missile crisis because the summary looked interesting on the page and I wanted to learn more about it. The Cuban Missile Crisis is important today because it almost the start of a nucular war between the Soviet Union And the USA. |
