"Playing" with my Brothers
One day in the summer, I rode my bike to the pool with my brothers, Ryan and Sean. We were going to Pioneer, and it was super exciting. This was the first time we were staying for night swim by ourselves. Once it was time to go home, my mom was going to pick us up. We were really excited. So, it was the middle of the day and the pool just opened. We walked right in, and automatically we raced in to the water. It felt so good to be in warm water that wasn't to hot or too cold. We started playing this game we had made up a long time ago, where Ryan would sit us on his shoulders, and then flip us backwards. Sean went first, and he was super scared. Ryan flipped him extremely fast, and Sean landed in a belly-flop. Ryan started laughing hysterically, and I gasped. Sean slowly came up from the water and had a frown on his face. He looked at Ryan, saw him laughing, and smiled. Then he started cracking up, which made me laugh too. It was a good start to a good day. We played for a while, switching games every so often. Then, of course, Ryan stopped playing. He saw his friends and he told us to play by ourselves. Sean and I were super annoyed. So, Sean and I got out of the pool and raced to our swim bags. There, we got a diving ring, which was one of our favorite games. We switched off throwing the ring in the water, and the other person tried to find it. We were having a great time, just as the pool started to get crowded. I felt my stomach rumbling, so Sean and I went up to get a snack. We had pizza, pop, and a snow cone for dessert. Since the pool was starting to get more crowded, I saw my friends, and Sean saw his. We also saw a bunch of other kids from Westgate, so Sean and I started a game of contagious. We had so much fun! It started to get a little later, so the pool closed. Sean, Ryan, and I got out, and went out to wait for my mom. She picked us up, and we went home.
"Yes!" I thought to myself. Ryan, Sean, and I got to go back to the pool to go night swimming! Since we left the pool, we had been waiting for what seemed like hours. We went back and got a bunch of ice cream with our friends. It was so much fun! I couldn't wait to got back to the pool tomorrow.

Jimbo's
"Whew!!!" I thought. It was a hot summer evening in Saint Marten, and we were going to a restaurant called Jimbo's. My cousins and brothers and I were all super excited to go to Jimbo's because Jimbo's had a pool that was built into the restaurant. We all raced into the ice cold water and shivered with a sigh of delight. We put our goggles on and started to play hide and seek. It was more fun than usual because it was night, and there were no lights on in the pool. Also, the sides of the pool (the walls) were black, so it was dark, and hard to see people. We were playing when we realized that there was a secret cove in the back of the pool. It was under a bridge, and the bridge had poles supporting it, so it was hard to get through. We finally made it through, and we had to climb this wall of rocks to get to the place. It turned out to be a shallow waterfall, and a pool. We played in there for a while, and then our family called us in, telling us it was time for dinner. So, everyone raced in front of me, eager to eat. I started to go under the bridge. As I was going to come up for air, I realized my hair was stuck in one of the poles. I desperately tried to come up but it wasn't working. I had been under water for at least 15 seconds, and I was starting to get scared. I noticed where my hair was stuck, yanked as hard as I could, and finally, cam up, gasping for breath. Then, I went to eat, with a sigh of relief. Next time I went in the cove, I would take the bridge.
