Surface Water Sand Bark/Wood Fabric Leaves | Prediction I think water will just absorb into the cup filled with water. I think the water will darken the sand. I thought that the water would just lay on top and not be absorbed. I thought that the water droplets would lay on top of the fabric. I thought the drops would soak in to the leaves. | Actual The water dove to the bottom and created a splash along with absorbing. The water did darken but the water also made it more compact. The water actully absorbed into the "Tree Bark". The water actully formed pn top and gathered with other droplets. The water actully layed on top and slowley rolled off. | Reflection I had no idea the splash would be so big, considering the droplet was so small. I was surprised that water can spread so quickly because the who cup of sand became compact. I was suprised that the water darkened when the water hit the wood. I was suprised it layed on top, because a beach towel usally absorbs. I was suprosed that it slis off the leaf like it was plastic. |
The Cycle of Waldo the Water Droplet
Hi, I'm Waldo! For me, the water cycle is a pretty regular thing for me. Today, rain was in the forcast, and I could not wait, I was so curious to where I was going to land today. Then I heard thunder, It was almost time, and then everyone started to fall. The wind blew hard, so I moved around a lot. Then I finally landed. I was on a leave, on a huge tree.
This was a new place, usally I land with all my friends. Today I was on my own to wait for evaportion. After a couple of hours the sun came out and I knew I was almost done for the day, and I would be back soon, so I waited, then I felt myseft rising, till I found my way back to my home cloud. I wounder what the forcast was going to be tommorow. I hope it calls for rain.
