Hi I am Carlione and we are moving to the West because the soil is really good and all of us need lots of food to survive and that is just not happening in the East. We need food and good soil to grow that food like how are we suppose to go a mile every day to get food we would fall apart with all that work. Also we are moving because the weather is prefect for the crops there is rain every other day so we don't have to water them with the well water because then we can drink it.
Others might be going to the West because the gold I herd there is a lot of gold and a lot of people are going for it because they are poor and would love to bring home a treat for there family's. Also I herd that a lot of people are clamming that there is not enough room for them to build bigger and better houses and farms (I think there is plenty of room). The last reason I know of is that people want free religion. I know that people told us that they wanted to bring Christianity to the Indians.
Before I got here I was very poor there was no rich soil I fell apart I had to spend days in the field getting seeds planted and to make them grow impossible!
