Reflection:

• What bodies of surface water did you find while examining the three maps? A lot of water thats for sure. The most common was lakes, most large where oceans but there where also all the things you see on the bodys of water slide on the top of the page.
  
• Were there any types of surface water on the Arlington Heights map that you weren’t able to find on the Illinois map? If so, why? I didn't get anything. I think that I didn't get any thing because the Arlington Heights is in Illinois so they should have the same bodies of water.
  
• Were there any types of surface water on the Illinois map that you couldn’t find on the United States map? If so, why? There was some rivers and lakes I think you couldn't see those because there are to small.
  
• What are some names of the bodies of water in Illinois and Arlington Heights? What bodies of water did you identify? I saw 1 thing that I saw many times lakes.
  

I loved today it was really net to stay at Alcove Springs. I never new my moms apple pie tasted so good! We have been on a horrible trip and it was really nice to cool off in the water I never thought that water could be this fun! I had a great time playing spinning tops my brother won once but, I won twice I even got to make a spinning top out of wood by carving I now it is not really a lady like thing to to but I did it anyways (sometimes it is hard just being me). I also got to clean my clothes and my brother he smells so bad it worse than the necessary (the necessary smells really bad)! I also really loved dunking my body in the cool water. My father is hunting some deer because we are almost out of good food! I will be tending the animals so they can get fresh and ready for tomorrow morning. I will enjoy myself now before the dreaded day tomorrow! 

The salt water is a lot! The earth has 97.24% salt water! I can't believe that! We only have about 3% of good drinking water! The air water on earth is  .001! Wow! Fresh water on the surface is .01 that is not a lot I don't believe we have enough water to do everything we do every day! I was so off of! The fresh ground water is .61%! I didn't know that that much water is in the ground! The Ice is more 2.14% but it is nothing compared to salt water.

Refection :
     I was so surprised! I had no idea how lucky we are I know that we are lucky but I had no idea that lucky I really missed out. I also was really surprised to find out that salt water doesn't freeze that is really cool. When I grow up I want to find a way to make the ocean not salt water I know that is a little extreme but, I will try! This was very cool to find out. I going to try to save water for all the people who need it.

Yellow Stone didn't come till 20 years after they walk the Oregon Trail. The Beavers where capture because the people wanted there hats so the Beavers are very scarce. I think the pioneers waited to spring because it can be 30 degrees below 0 that is so cold I would die! Also they have about six feet of snow every day. The closest Walmart or Target is still one- and a half hours away. The Native Americans used opposition to make arrow heads I think that that is very creative you must of have to been if you didn't want to get killed. That means there is a volcano's in Yellow stone. Three volcanos erupted and barred the the trees in ashes then the trees turned to stone i think that is really cool but really scary I would not like to be in one! 

I loved today we got to pick out our wagon we diced on the Prairie Schooner I think it is a good choice. I am very concerned about the mud I herd that it can really damage the wagon.  Also the wolfs will be very bad for our life stalk I really love all animals, so it will be hard to see them die. I am really scared about my family but my three year old brother Benjamin is always wondering off to where he is not suppose to be. I know there is a night shift but still Ben can really run fast. Also my mother she gets ill very easy if one of us dies she is sure to die to. I done all I can packing, looking for Ben, I even agree to where a dress (I hate dresses). Dresses have so many pieces of fabric and it is so hot. I am bringing my best friends Susan, Mary, and Beatrice. I hope they will be okay I couldn't live without them. I am glad we are bringing tools like rifle and hunting knife for killing and dressing animals. gimlet, ax, hammer, shovel, whetstone, oxbows, 6 axles, 2 kingbolts, 5 spokes, 1 wagon tongue, 5 heavy ropes, 2 chains. I feel much safer with them. I love to cook so I convince my parents to bring dutch oven, kettle, skillet, reflector oven, coffee grinder, teapot, butcher knife, ladle, tin tableware, water keg, matches.CLOTHING: wool sack coats, rubber coats, cotton dresses, wool pantaloons, buckskin pants, duck trousers, cotton shirts, flannel shirts, cotton socks, brogans, boots, felt hat, palm-leaf sun hat, green goggles, sunbonnet. I am very happy and even though I am scared I think we will make it.

Today we are leaning about what predators there where in the West and how people used them. There  are more than 3000 bison in Yellow Stone.  Yellow Stone is really big and it is like a volcano. The cart was smaller than a car! People back than where really amazing! There are about ten main predators in Yellow Stone. The predators are going to annoy us but we have to put up with mostly wolves and coyote. You have to keep the sheep closes to the wagon so you don't loose all the sheep. Wolves are a meter to the shoulders, and the coyote is 22 inches (56 cm) to the shoulders. Wolves and coyote can team up with there pack so then you are in trouble. Wolves have a big head and small ears but coyote have really big ears and a small head. The coyote whimper so you feel bad than when your dog comes up because they feel bad and become lunch. The Organ trail is mostly in Wyoming. Wolves can wolf down 22 pounds of meat in 10-15 minutes I couldn't believe it that is so cool!  The Wolf and coyote compete a lot. Also bears are big predators to wolves the bears always win. He got to walk on the Organ trail Twice, so lucky it sounds so cool! You have to be really careful about the live stalk because there are so many predators (even if we can kill them).  Make sure that we are making smart decisions about what you do to the environment because something could happen that you wouldn't like. The older people would ride on the wagon because they will get weaker, get sick, and sometimes they can die. If they get close to dieing people would do everything they can so they don't lose a family member. You might have to stay in the same place a number of days. When people do this they have to take all the stales off and then back on then they would take a cart to the side of the rode witch is really hard because the cart will tip over really easy.  They are rattle snakes bugs and really big mosquitoes (the size of humming birds) I couldn't live! Wolfs are about 120-130 pound and if they are standing they are around six feet maybe taller I would be really scared! Brown bears will attack you but not kill you on the other hand black bears will kill you right on the spot ( I really don't want to meet a black bear).  Liken is stuff that grow on rocks. There is four different kinds of Liken. Raidear , and Caribou eat it also it makes really good medicine. A Egle could kill a dear that is really unbelievable! When he was walking on the trail he felt really cool it brought him back to 1843! I had so much fun I am in aw so much fun!!!
 

I think this was a valuable experience because I learn to talked to people and not be scared when people where giving me negative feed back.

I definitely made some mistakes along the way, but I learned from them. Here are some examples when I said the results I mess up so it felt that people are falling asleep. I talked with more voice and tried to talk loud so they wouldn't fall asleep.

If I were give the chance to do anything differently, I would grow the plants longer. I would also talk louder I feel better if I talked louder because than people would of probably payed more attention to me.
