1. Yes, people around the world struggle a lot to find good water to drink. Actually, 783 million people struggle to find clean water to drink. It is one of the biggest causes of death in some areas. But not where we live. We are really lucky to have clean water every day. 
2.  2.761% of earth's water is fresh water, and 97.24% of earth's water is salt water.

If you had 10 milk cartons, then each carton is 10% of the water. Earth's water is 97.24% salt water. 0.001% of earth's fresh water is in the air. All of the lakes, streams, and rivers in the world are 0.01% of earth's water. 0.61% of earth's fresh water is in the ground. 2.14 % of earth's fresh water is ice.
     I was blown away by the amount of fresh water on earth. I was 100% positive that there was more fresh water on earth then salt water, but I was really wrong. I learned a lot today, because I had no idea that there was so much salt water on earth. Mr. Solarz was showing us that the only salt water is in oceans, so I was sure that there was more fresh water then salt water. There are so many different sources of salt water, but it only adds up to 2.761% of the water on earth. It is almost scary, because we can only drink fresh water, but there is so little of it!
