Overall, I think that the Science Fair was a valuable experience because we learned how to give speeches, and got good at it. We got to talk to people about what we had learned over the course of 2 months, and learned what we had done better after we had talked to lots of people about it.
I definitely made some mistakes along the way, but I learned from them. Here are some examples: When I first tried to make the maze, I started to make it out of cardboard, but that didn't work because the walls kept falling down, and it was too flimsy. So we build it out of wood. And when we were making the outline of the maze, I drew it in a way so that not all the routes would be even. We had to redo it, and try drawing it in a whole different way.
If I were give the chance to do anything differently, I would make the maze a little different, because when I was explaining to the little kids that my maze didn't have an end, it just had ends of routes, they seemed confused, and I confused myself with it too. I think I would have just done the routes a little differently so it wasn't so confusing.
