In Boston 1768 I became a apprentice to a merchant. I picked this job because I have always thought this job was cool. I thought it would be a more exciting job, compared to all the other ones. It would be fun to sell all different types of things to all different types of people. Though it was hard to get this job. It quite a while to convince anyone to hire me. Finally one older man said yes, and it has been fun so far.
       I am living with my master,and sleeping there too. He provides food for me, and I am very grateful. It wasn't too hard to find. He invited me into his house, he just said I had to pay. 3 cents a day. That's extreamly cheap compared to what it would have been in 2013.
     My first day has been exciting and scary all at once. Bosten is a big exciting place. It is where all the crazy things happen.
    

For the balloon experiment we blew up a balloon about halfway, but we didn't tie the end. Then we put our target wherever we wanted it. After we went and stood on our launch pad and let go of the end of the balloon. The balloon would soar into the air then come down somewhere that was nowhere close to the target. Then we would measure the distance from the target to where the balloon landed. The distance I usally got was somewhere in between 300 to 400 centimeters. I did pretty good if I do say so myself. A few times I let go of the balloon and it went behind me! It was an awesome science lesson!
