First of all, thank you sooooo much for a great year and for taking the time to do this for me!!! I hope that your child has had a successful school year and is excitedly looking forward to the new challenges awaiting them in middle school!
I am asking as many parents as possible from my classroom to type up their thoughts on how the 21st Century aspect of the year went for you and your child. I often hear about the things people would like me to change, but I don't often hear about things that you liked. I completely realize that I have a lot of room for improvement (how directions for blogs are managed, homework, etc.), but what worked for your child this year? Feel free to comment on you and your child's initial feelings, bumps along the way, as well as all the positives that you have noticed. If possible, include some of the following in your comments:

- Write about how you felt early on in the school year and how you feel today. Were you always excited about the 21st Century classroom or were you converted?
- Write about the 21st Century skills that your child has developed (click here to see a quick list of the 34 skills we worked on this year OR click here to see the progress report with the 34 skills and behaviors associated).
- Write about how you feel regarding your child's preparation for middle school, high school, college, and beyond.
- Write about the similarities and differences between this year and a typical year (and share any opinions or feelings you have about that).
- Write about any comments or thoughts that your child has shared with you this year.
- If you are willing (but don't feel that you have to), include your name at the end so that future parents will be able to connect a person with your thoughts.
