The person that invented Arbor Day was a man named Julius Sterling Morton. Before Julius invented Arbor Day, his job in Nebraska (which is where he lived) was a newspaper thrower (the kind that throws newspapers on your porch early in the morning). Julius was born April 22nd, 1832 to April 27th, 1902. Julius built a 52-room mansion that is a look-a-like to the white house. That building is now called Arbor Lodge State Historical
