In class today I had to pick a job that involved water and I chose being a biologist. I learned a lot about what biologists do. I learned that they: study living cells and organisms and how they live in the environment. I also learned that some biologists do a simple research try to discover underlying mechanisms that decide how organisms work. They also study the organisms and how living things affect their environment or their habitat. Not only do they do that but they also study humans, plants, animals, and the environments in which they live. They may conduct their studies--human medical research, plant research, animal research, environmental system research-at the cellular level or the ecosystem level or anywhere in between. Biologists are students of the world, interested in learning from every facet of life.
