Yesterday in science class we learned how to do a fair test. One of the most important things we learned is to be accurate when recording measurements. To practice measuring accurately, we measured how high a ball bounces. We used meter sticks to do this and measured in centimeters. My group measured a basket ball and a ping pong ball. We had to drop them from exactly the same height or our measurements would be off. We discovered that, on average, a ping pong ball bounces six centimeters higher than a basket ball. | basket ball: | ping pong ball: |
