"Totally just rev it up at the start, please!" I replied, happy as could be. I hopped right into that tube as my dad lumbered into about as ungracefully as possible.
Right as we start I give my aunt double thumbs up and off we go. Every couple seconds I would give thumbs up to her, to make the boat go top speed. Just as I give a thumbs up and exhaling air I see out of the corner of my eye to long legs go on either side of me...
"blub, blub" is all I hear for about 3 seconds but it seems like an eternity. Out of nowhere a hand comes and lifts me out of the water and sends me into fresh cold air that feels amazing.
Its my dads hand that has "saved" me from drowning
" O My God, Kee I am so sorry I tried to lay down and I totally flipped our raft!!"
" It was parshally my fault ,I told aunt Judy to speed it up a lot."
And that is how I almost drown on a tube.
Lesson 1- Part 2 observing water
It is really cold and gets colder as you send your hand deeper into the water.
It clung on to my hand when you take it out of the water.
Every 3-10 seconds the water drips off your finger
It is a very faint "plop dop" The sound is also very little and is a little delayed.
After every drop the noise gets fainter and fainter. as it hit the side it made a swooshing sound.
This smell is a This does not have a distinct smell but it chills the nose. It felt like I was breathing in cold air.
The sight of water is clear and does not change unless it is poured in which it makes some air bubbles.
