Question's 1.Do people really struggle to find clean drinking water? 2.What percent of water on the Earth is fresh? 3.What percent of water on Earth is salt? 4.What is the percent of water for Air water,Ground water, Surface water, and Ice water. | Answer's 1.People have a hard time finding clean water because they might live in a place where they can not reach or get the water through pipes. Like for example people in Arizona have a hard time getting water because it is all a desert. Or in Africa how do they find water? Well they go to places where it is an oasis or little creek, and we still don't know if that is even clean and safe for them to drink. So it is definitely a challenge to find water in some places to drink. 2.I think that there is 5% fresh water on the Earth. 3. I think that there is 95% water on Earth that is salt. 4. I think that there is 50% air water, 20% ground water, 10% surface water, and 20% Ice water out of 5%. |
It is very difficult to get drinking water that is clean. Earths water is 97.24 salt water.Wait we can't drink salt water. Less than three percent is drinkable. And it is not all where we can get it. Most of it is in the great lakes. 0.001 is how much water is int he air.0.01 is surface water. All the water in the ground is 0.61%. There is 2.14% ice water.
Reflection: I was surprised and I also wasn't surprised because I knew that it was more than 95% salt water and that there where barley any fresh water because first of all I read a book about it and it told me. Plus I was thinking about it and I knew that oceans could be as deep as 15,000 feet so in about 1 mile of ocean and the deepest part of the ocean in square miles would probably equal the amount of water in all the great lakes because those are only like 200 feet deep or so. But the thing that surprised me was that there is 2.14% ice water out of 2.761% fresh water. I thought that the most would be sky water because that takes all the water from the ocean and lakes and everything and it showers down. And think about it, if there are clouds all over the world wouldn't they be filled with water. Well that was not right and that is what surprised me the most.
