1. Bamboo Wood
2. Copper
3. Plastic
4. Brass
5. Aluminum
Predictions of ranks.
The best conductor will be the copper and the worst conductor will be the aluminum. I believe that the copper will be the best conductor because it is one of those items that can have electricity being passed through it. And I believe that the plastic is the worst conductor because if you pay attention electrical wires are covered by plastic.
So here are the places.
1. Copper
2. Brass
3.Aluminum
4.Bamboo wood
5. Plastic
These are in order best to worst conductor.

- The heat went into thier butter from the water touching the rods and from the rods to the butter which made them slid down. This is why they melted.
- The results compared to my predictions were off because I thought that the wood would slid down second to last and that the plastic would be off. I thought this because I thought that plastic was not as good as the would in conducting factors.
- Out of the tested materials the copper and the aluminum were the best because they slid down first so that means that they are the best conductors. This means the heat was getting to them faster.
- Out of the tested material the worst materials were the wood and the plastic because they slid down the slowest meaning that they are the worst conductors. This means that the heat got to them the slowest.
- I think that water is a good conductor because I have heard that if you are in the pool and their is a lightning storm you have to get out. Another reason might be because it is light and is able to have currents go through it . This is why the lightning can go through.
- It matters in our life because if we have Copper around are electrical wires everyone would get burned and hurt. But they are not, they are made of plastic so that the electricity can't get through.
