Comparing light bulbs with Differences In Wattage
Incandescent 100 watt Lumens: 1,500 Bulb life: 750 Light Output: Larger Heat Output: Larger | Incandescent 25 watt Lumens: 210 Bulb Life: 2,500 Light Output: Smaller Heat Output: Smaller |
Reflection: The things that I learned are that the incandescent light bulb that is 25 watts is not as bright as the incandescent 100 watt bulb because the Incandescent 100 watt is 1500 lumens. But the incandescent light bulb was like 1,750 hours of light longer. The things that were amazing though was that it could live that long without dyeing. At this point half the class was either saying wow or
Comparing Different Types Of Light Bulbs with Similar Wattage
Incandescent 25 Watt Lumens: 210 Bulb Life: 2,500 Light Output: Smaller Heat Output: Larger | CFL 24 Watt Lumens: 1,600 Bulb Life: 6,000 Light Output: Larger Heat Output: Smaller |
Reflection: The thing that amazed me was that the CFL 24 watt was was almost 2 and a half times more life and much more lumens. The thing that also amazed me was that the Incandescent light bulb was much hotter when Mr. Solarz put his hand by it. This is why they can both be useful for different times.
Comparing Different Light Bulbs with Different Lumens
Incandescent 100 Watt Lumens: 1,500 Bulb life: 750 Light Output: Smaller Heat Output: Larger | CFL 24 Watt Lumens: 1,600 Bulb Life: 6,000 Light Output: Larger Heat Output: Smaller |
The thing that amazed me with these two were that they were almost like 5,250 hours difference. Meaning that you would most likely want the CFL 24 watt in your living room because that is were you do most of your living. And you would want the other one in your room to keep it not to bright.
